Three months have passed since the severe earthquake in Nepal and 1.1 million children who live in the severely affected areas still need our help.
The overall Humanitarian situation in Nepal has improved but now UNICEF faces severe challenges regarding the rehabilitation of the country.
During the last three months UNICEF, together with its partners distributed vital supplies for the well-being of children and families including hygiene kits and water purification products, therapeutic foods, medical kits, educational materials and more.
UNICEF teams in Nepal will continue to work in the damaged areas until the full recovery of Nepal and we will continue updating.
To date, UNICEF has transferred approximately $6 million to Nepal, including equipment.
