With your help we can rebuild futures for children in Syria
For the last decade a whole generation of children is growing up knowing nothing but war. A child in Syria has been killed every 10 hours. Living in constant fear of airstrikes and ongoing violence is taking a devastating toll on Syrian children and their families. Many lives have been lost and many homes destroyed. Children have lost family members, friends and the safe spaces they loved like the schools they used to play, learn and dream in. Too much loss, too much trauma— many children have lost hope.
Refugee children in Syria are dying every day, and the world is silent. But each and every single Syrian child deserves a better life, a brighter future. With your help, we can bring hope of a better future to children. This is why, we urge you to make a donation to help us rebuild children’s lives today.

Your donations will help us provide prefabs that can be used to create classrooms or health clinics even in most damaged neighborhoods. Bringing in prefabs to establish classrooms is often the only way to normalize lives in communities and allow children to get back to learning.
These prefabs are also utilized to operate child-friendly centers where mental health and psychosocial support services are provided for children who have experienced violence, abuse and exploitation.
Caption: “Our new classrooms are beautiful, and desks are comfortable for sitting. My dream is to be an electric engineer in future” says Rami, 7.
For many children like Rami, going back to school is not just a chance for a better future, it also means restoring a sense of normalcy back into their lives so they can feel like children again.
How will my donation help?
Unicef is on the ground, helping the thousands of vulnerable children who urgently need support in the aftermath of the disaster.
We’re providing safe drinking water and hygiene kits for children and families in the city. We’re helping set up counselling to support children who are experiencing trauma and those who have lost loved ones.
We’re working fast to support children in emergency accommodation, ensuring they have mattresses, blankets and towels. And we’re replacing the thousands of PPE equipment lost in the blast, so health workers can stay protected and keep children safe.
Just 49 Euro could help provide an emergency water and hygiene kit for a family.
Why Unicef?
Unicef makes sure more of the world’s children are fed, vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws, policies and customs to help protect children than any other charity. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.
We receive no funding from the UN budget. We rely entirely on voluntary donations like yours to fund our vital work to protect children in danger, transforming their lives and building a safer world for tomorrow’s children.
Please give what you can and donate online now. Thank you for your donation.
